If your child needs speech therapy, occupational therapy, or another kind of support, you already know how much coordination that can take. Between work schedules, appointment times, and getting a young child in and out of a car for yet another visit, it can start to feel like a part-time job on top of everything else you’re already juggling.
At FLOE, therapists come directly into the classroom, which means your child gets the support they need without missing time with friends or pulling you away from work for every session. It’s part of how we welcome children of all abilities into the same learning environment as their peers, rather than treating extra support as something separate.
Therapists typically work with children in short, regular sessions, sometimes one-on-one and sometimes woven right into classroom activities. A speech therapist might join circle time to support a child’s communication in a natural setting, while an occupational therapist might work on fine motor skills during art or snack time. The goal is for therapy to feel like a normal part of the day, not a disruption.
Children receiving therapy practice new skills where they’ll actually use them, alongside the same friends they see every day. Classmates benefit too. Seeing therapy happen naturally teaches other children that everyone learns differently, building patience and acceptance without anyone needing to explain it directly.
Even though therapy happens on-site, families remain very much part of the process. Teachers and therapists communicate regularly about a child’s progress, and parents are encouraged to ask questions or share what they’re noticing at home. This kind of open communication is part of the philosophy our families consistently point to when describing their experience at FLOE.

Many parents wonder whether on-site therapy replaces outside specialists entirely. Often it works alongside existing providers rather than replacing them, and coordination between the two is usually possible with the right paperwork in place. Parents also often ask how privacy is handled during sessions, and centers should be able to explain their approach clearly.
On-site therapy works best when everyone, teachers, therapists, and parents, stays connected. That kind of teamwork is exactly what makes it possible for children to receive consistent support without adding stress to the family.
If your child could benefit from on-site therapy services, or you’d simply like to learn more about how it works here, reach out to us, and we’re glad to walk you through it.
